Natalia Auza

Hi, I’m Natalia. I live in Querétaro—a small, but rapidly growing city two hours north of Mexico City. I am a freelance Graphic Designer working on El Camino Travel’s design and also scouting new El Camino Travel destinations in a country that I know very well! I recently left my full-time office job with the hopes of being able to travel more. I would love to take a year to work remotely. I speak English and Spanish and would love to learn Italian. My favorite trip ever was my honeymoon in which we spent 5 weeks traveling around SE Asia. My favorite destination was Myanmar, for me it was unlike anything I've ever seen. My favorite thing about traveling is meeting new people, trying new food, and making myself aware of other people's realities.

What’s at the top of your travel bucket list?

India and Japan

What’s one item you could never travel without?

A camera. I try not to get too distracted by my gadgets while traveling, but I love being able to look back on certain places or memories from a trip. I also really like to print out my photos.

Top travel tip?

Try ALL the food! You can’t say you don’t like something until you’ve tried it! (Mom’s advice). And always be open to discover new perspectives.
